About the Daily Word Challenge

Every day at midnight a new 5-letter word is selected from our carefully curated puzzle bank. The challenge rotates through five themed categories — Nature, Music, Science, Sport, and Food — mixed with general vocabulary challenges to keep things fresh.

Your score is calculated from how many guesses you used, whether you used hints, whether the word contained rare letters (Q, Z, X, J), and your current streak bonus. Maintaining a streak adds 50 bonus points for every 7 consecutive days played.

Streak Milestones

Reach these streaks to unlock milestone badges displayed on your result card: 3 days 🌱, 7 days 🔥, 14 days ⚡, 30 days 🏆, 50 days 💎, 100 days 👑. Streaks reset if you miss a day or fail to solve the puzzle.

How Scoring Works

Base score: (7 − guesses used) × 100 — so solving in 1 guess earns 600 base points and solving in 6 earns 100. Add +50 for no hints, +100 if the word contains Q/Z/X/J, and +50 for every full 7-day streak multiplier. Maximum possible score: 999 points.
